"At The Top Of Mississippi"

 Programs

We realize that not everyone is ready for full blown competitive. They may be ready to commit to a more developmentabased program with minimal travel or simply more training. We maintain our child first philosophies throughout all of our training programs. There are three important things to know about all of our programs:

1. None of our programs require more than three days a week. From the time we form teams until the first game is played we train three days a week. Once games start we go to two training sessions and a game.

2. None of our teams require being involved with more than one team at a time. This is one of the most confusing things for children in programs that require dual registration. They don't understand why their coaches teach so different and never know which team or game they are going to. They also often train for weeks or months without playing any games. Part of developing players is evaluating their progress in games and then training to correct.

3. We do not play indoor. While it is great for foot skills it does little for the tactics of the outdoor game. We have also found that most kids (and parents) really like a break every few months.

No matter what level the aspiring soccer player is in their developmental stage we have a program that will meet their needs. Due to this we offer several levels of training:

Division 1 - These teams play weekly in the MSSF league and travel a few times a season. (fall season, spring season) We aim to keep these teams single age leveled so that they can stay together year in and year out. The travel costs make this division a little more expensive. This is not the division for first year teams or players new to competitive.

Division 2 - These are newer teams that are just starting out. They train twice a week and play league games at Mike Rose. They go to a a couple of carefully selected tournaments each season (Fall and Spring). This is also a much better division for split age teams. The teams are rostered in dual age groups. (U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19)

Academy - The Academy program is a once a week one hour technique training session including, not not limited to: dribbling, juggling, passing and receiving, heading, trapping, etc. conducted by a licensed experienced USSF/NSCAA coach. A great way to develop more skill and confidence without committing to anything but training. It is open to anyone 8 years old by July 31 of the present playing year for this program (first year U-10). This program runs $20.00 a month for training fees with a minimum of 10 participants.

Personal Training - Available upon request. The fee is $25.00 an hour per player.
