 Programs

We offer three levels of training. Not everyone is ready for competitive, but they may ready to commit to a more development based team or more training. Perhaps they want more than training but are not ready for the "jump" to competitive. Starting with the teams formed in the fall of 2008 we will no longer have "tryouts" but will follow the national initiative of having registration and forming teams. Too often children feel pressured during tryouts and do not relax and play. If you think your child is ready for more competitive levels of soccer this allows them the exposure without the burden of a tryout.

 Registration will be available on Saturdays at Colonial Hills Church on Hwy 51 in Southaven during our open play sessions. To register simply attend open play and bring the registration form. No money is due until July 7, 2008.

 Open play will start Thursday May 22 and run every Thursday in June starting at 6:30 at CHC on Hwy 51 on Highwy 51 in Southaven.

 Competitive - These are the teams that play weekly in the MSSF league and travel once or twice a season. (fall season, spring season) We aim to keep these teams as age leveled as possible so that they can stay together year in and year out. The costs are on our fees page. This level play This level of play is open to anyone born before July 31, 2000)

 Division 2 - These teams are formed from recreational players registered with DCSA. The teams are formed after recreational registration. These players participate in recreational league play and practice with their Div 2 team once a week. They will make one or two tournaments in the fall and a tournament and a State Cup tournament in the spring. This is a great way to ease into more competitive training and games without making the commitment to a full time squad. This level of play is open to anyone born before July 31, 2000. The teams are broken into 2 year age groups (U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19)  The costs associated with the program are $16.00 to register, $5.00 for a player pass, $75.00 for a uniform, and any tournament entry amounts.

 Existing teams can be brought in and registered at $37.00. These teams do not have to participate in any recreational play. Please email Johnny for more details. keeper@acdesoto.org

 Academy - The Academy program is a once a week skills training session including, not not limited to dribbling, juggling, passing and receiving, heading, all traps, etc. A great way to develop more skill and confidence without committing to anything but training. It is open to anyone born between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 2000. This program runs $20.00 a month for training fees. For more information please email Justin Hudgins at justin@acdesoto.org
